WINTER PARK, Fla. — A popular Central Florid thrift store damaged by flood waters during Hurricane Ian is set to reopen with new features for its customers.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida (BGCCF) Thrift Store, located on State Road 436 in Winter Park, will reopen for business on Monday after being closed for six months

After sustaining major flood damage from Hurricane Ian, the community rallied behind the damaged store, contributing volunteer time, merchandise donations, and other support to refurbish the store.
According to a news release, the store contains 10,000 square feet of shopping space and features extensive clothing and housewares departments.

The new features include an “Antique Alley,” a Retro & Vintage Section, and a Disney Department with new merchandise provided by the popular attraction.
