EUGENE, Ore — The message at the Red Cross was clear: they want people to not hesitate in coming to the center in Eugene looking for help.
Dave Maranov, is a longtime volunteer with the Red Cross and the supervisor of the new intake center. Located on 72 Centennial Loop in Building B suite 200 in Eugene, the center is offering a number of services to the public.
Maranov said, “We invite them to come into the office and open a case if they think they’ve got severe damage to their homes.”
Everything ranging from providing mental health assistance to finding lost medication is being offered at the center. Damage assessment is also provided at the Red Cross, and depending on the damage to one’s house, clients can apply for financial aid.
