Seed of Compassion | Garden Party [Video]

Seed of Compassion | Garden Party

What a lovely celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the New Brunswick Adoption Foundation on June 5th at Kingsbrae Garden in Saint Andrews! We were thrilled to have so many who have been so instrumental in the beginnings and growth of the NB Adoption Foundation over these 20 years.

A gathering of donors, volunteers, board members, local adoptive parents, adoptees, youth, staff, government representatives, and child welfare professionals.

We know there are many others too part of the growth and development who were not there but were with us in spirit!

So many to thank…
🔹Diane Lord the Event and “Seeds of Compassion” Campaign Chair for her generosity, interest, and engagement in our mission and for being simply a joy to work with!
🔹Medavie as BLOOMING DONOR & Medavie Health Foundation’s amazing announcement of $100,000 to provide funding for adopted teens and youth!!
🔹 A very special shout-out goes to ACADIA BROADCASTING, OUR LEGACY DONOR. This organization has given more in the 20 years of the NB Adoption Foundation than any other!
🔹 OUR CULTIVATOR DONOR… Senator Michael Meighen who was not to attend but sent his support with a letter “I have enclosed a cheque for $10,000 in support of the good work carried out by the NB Adoption Foundation…this donation is made in honour of my good friend of many years – Donald Mitchener – an individual who is not only a consummate professional but one who has a deep personal understanding of the importance of adoption. ”
