Come with me as I share with you all of my tips about Rio de Janeiro, Brasil such as where to stay, what to eat, and how to navigate the city from the eyes of a solo female traveler! Rio de Janeiros has been the 2nd country and 3rd city I stopped at on my journey of traveling solo for 2 months through Latin America and I’m excited to share my 8 days there with you!

Challenges:
I would not say it is safe for a solo female traveler
It rained a lot when I was there
Everything is in Portuguese and no one knows English or Spanish
What I loved:
The city view! Nowhere have I ever seen a city with such beauty, tall mountains by beautiful water, and beaches
They love sweets like I love sweets and I love that!
What I would do next time:
– food tour
– stay in Leblon area
