ADAMS, Minn. – On Jan.20 the Southland Community Foundation hosted a pickleball tournament to raise funds for Southland residents. There were a total of 28 people at the event. Vice Chair Katie Schaefer says the funds from the tournament will help the foundation’s long term goals.
“The registration fees from all of our teams that are participating will go into our general fund and our general fund will then be able to support any grants that are approved,” said Schaefer.
Some of the grants include education and health and wellness. Friends Travis Bruggeman and Coty Kirtz were happy to contribute.
