The Penny Marathon takes places at Brighton Le Sands in Sydney. In 2022, it will take place on Sunday, 10 July. It is a free event and takes place to raise awareness of the plight of suffering animals and to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of those that fight to save their lives.You can run, cycle or walk.The Sydney event is 22 kilometres long, starting at 8 am and wrapping up at around 11am. But you don’t need to participate in the entire event. You can run as little as 3.5 kilometres or walk 6 kilometres. Simply join in and end at a location that suits your fitness level.
