Last summer Denise and I had the pleasure of hosting 4 whale researchers for 2 weeks aboard Blue Pearl while we were in SE Alaska. The purpose of their research was to study whale communication. The grant for the research was provided by the Templeton World Charity Foundation though the Carl Sagan SETI Institute and the Alaska whale Foundation under NMFS Permit 19703.
