A new Cherokee Nation College Internship Program has been established to help provide tribal workforce experience for college students. Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. signed into policy the Cherokee Nation College Internship Program on Thursday. The Cherokee Nation College Internship Program, operated under the tribes Human Resources department, will initially be funded through the Cherokee Nations American Rescue Plan Act funding.
