Travel tips for Packers fans traveling to California for playoffs [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – We’re just five days away from game day!

The Green Bay Packers take on the San Francisco 49ers in the next round of the playoffs.

For folks looking to go wheels up to cheer on the Pack – no surprise – traveling early is the top recommendation, but there are some other things you should know to prepare.

“Even though we’re not having bad weather here, make sure the connecting city is not having bad weather people don’t think about that when they’re traveling, they just look at the city they’re flying out of but if there’s bad weather in the connecting city that could cause you delays or there’s cancellations. I definitely wouldn’t suggest flying out the day of just because of that,” said Jill Vosters, a travel agent with Travel Leaders.
