Turtle Ds new store helping feed the homeless [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The youngest member of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce has achieved a long time goal, opening a physical store.

Damian Reyes, or Chef Turtle, is the owner of Turtle D’s, and now he has opened a long awaited store front where people can come and shop around.

It’s all part of Eye of the Tiger Ministries, ran by his family. They’re goal is to help people.

At Turtle D’s new location you can find a little bit of everything, with the jarred food in the front, a resale store and homeless cafe in the back.

The delicious food is all made by Chef Turtle himself, and the clothes are all donations.

“Dessert and meal sauces, pickled veggies, pickled fruit, pickle juice, flavored pickles, pickled eggs and flavored eggs. And the resale shop is men’s, women’s, children’s clothing, shoes, we got underwear, we got swimsuits,” Chef Turtle said.

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
