Ep. 93 – Gulf Coast Adventure Part 3: Our sleep in a Walmart parking lot was disturbed in the early morning hours with a knock on our van. We weren’t actually planning on filming at all today, but things happened unexpectedly, and we decided to share. We got the dreaded knock. This raises the question of van life safety. Were we prepared for an emergency? This was a good test. As we drive from the Fort Myers area to Punta Gorda, we share our van life chores and some stops along the way.

📍 FISHERMAN’S WHARF (Punta Gorda, FL) – A beautiful outdoor mall on the Peace River just off the Charlotte Harbor. It’s got over 30 shops, several restaurants, a beautiful marina, resort, and pool, and is the home to several fishing and sightseeing boat tours. It’s a nice little spot with really great views. Free parking and entry.
📍 PUNTA GORDA HARBORWALK – A 2.5-mile paved pathway along the Charlotte Harbor with beautiful views, opportunities to see dolphins and sea birds, and access to restaurants and live entertainment. FREE.
