Volunteers create ‘Bundles of Love’ for families in need [Video]

The Bundles of Love charitable organization creates handcrafted shirts, blankets and diaper bags for families who need it the most.

BURNSVILLE, Minn. — When you have a baby on the way, the last thing you want to worry about is if you can afford baby clothes. 

There is a group of volunteers that are working to make sure that isn’t a problem. The charitable organization, Bundles of Love, handcrafts essential donations for new parents and caregivers in Minnesota. 

Volunteers make 25 items which are distributed to various organizations that give the bundles to families in need. 

Each of the “Bundles of Love” includes a diaper bag, afghan or blanket, quilt, two gowns, sleepers, t-shirts, flannel sets (including a receiving blanket, burp cloth, bib, wash mitt), a jacket or sweater, pants, hat, toy, bunting and mittens in the winter. The package includes a donation of diapers, baby wash and wipes.

WCK Celebration of Life at Washington National Cathedral [Video]

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
