MEAL ON THE HOLIDAY. 12 NEWS IS MALLORY ANDERSON TALKED WITH THE VOLUNTEER ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO GIVE BACK. STATION, WHICH IS SO. IT’S NOT OFTEN YOU SEE A JEWISH ORGANIZATION COOKING A BIG CHRISTMAS FEAST, BUT FOR 15 YEARS, THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT TIKKUN HIER HAS DONE TO DO MITZVAHS AND ACTS OF KINDNESS FOR THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY THAT IS CELEBRATING. THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO VOLUNTEER. SO WE HAVE A BUNCH OF VOLUNTEERS HELPING US COOK TODAY, AND THEN WE HAVE A WHOLE OTHER SET HELPING TO SERVE THE MEAL AT THE SHELTER TONIGHT. THESE WOMEN SPENT HOURS ON SUNDAY INSIDE THE CONGREGATION SINAI SYNAGOGUE PREPPING, CHOPPING AND COOKING ENOUGH FOOD FOR 60 PEOPLE. World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
