Weeks old puppy with ‘severe head wound’ recovering after rescue by Irish animal charity [Video]

A 3-week old puppy with a “severe head wound” is recovering after being rescued by an Irish animal charity.

My Lovely Horse Rescue (MLHR) has posted a series of videos of the puppy on their official Facebook page since her rescue on Sunday (January 28), with the charity stating: “We are 24/7, it just doesn’t stop. Heart break after heart break.”

In one video, which MLHR flagged as “very distressing”, the little dog is being held by a volunteer and can be heard screaming in pain.

The puppy – which has been named Baby Jude – was taken to veterinary specialists where vets confirmed her skull has been “slightly damaged”.
