Barrels of Love collection day helps restock food pantries [Video]

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — The Barrels of Love Non-Perishable Food Drive is helping restock food pantries in Morgan County. Donations were made by the car load at Beltline Church of Christ Friday morning.

Organizers with the food drive have been collecting donations since Valentine’s Day. Those same food items will be used to feed children and families in need.

Items collected help restock food pantries at Salvation Army of Decatur, The Committee on Church Cooperation, and Backpack Feeding Programs for Decatur City and Morgan County Schools.
