Car show in Chandler to benefit military serving abroad [Video]

CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Looking for something to do this weekend? How about checking out some cool cars while also helping members of the U.S. military stationed abroad?

The Corvette Club of Arizona is hosting its 14th annual Corvettes in the Park Charity Car Show on Sunday, March 24, at A.J. Chandler Park in downtown Chandler. The club welcomes area Corvette owners to bring their cars to show off to the public and help support the troops.

The Corvette Club of Arizona will donate $10 from every car registration to the “Packages from Home” program, a Phoenix-based organization that provides personal care and support items to U.S. military members stationed around the world.

There will also be a station for kids and adults to decorate boxes and write personal notes that will be sent overseas! Tap/click here to learn more about the car show.
