Dad wins 3,000,000 Omaze villa after buying a secondhand armchair [Video]

A dad who had a chance encounter with a Gumtree seller ended up winning big in an Omaze prize draw.

Graham Dunlop, 52, went to collect a battered, secondhand leather chair he bought from a woman online – who said he could have the chair for free if he donated to Alzheimer’s Research UK.

He made his donation but then decided to enter the Omaze prize draw after spotting it was supporting the charity.

Graham has now won the keys to a Spanish villa worth over £3 million as well as £250,000 in cash.

He still has the chair – which is often used by one of his pet dogs Maisy – which he may rename ‘Omaisy’ after scooping the Omaze Grand Prize.

His four-bedroom villa in Mallorca is complete with swimming pool and stunning mountain views.
