The RiverRun Film Festival is hosting its second annual “Can” Film Festival to raise money for Samaritan Ministries.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — It’s time for Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the whole Muppet gang to move to the big screen once again, but this time it’s in the name of charity.
The RiverRun Film Festival is hosting its second annual “Can” Film Festival for the holidays. The Marketplace Cinemas in Winston-Salem will screen the holiday classic “The Muppet Christmas Carol” on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m.
The price is even better. All you need is two non-perishable cans of food which will be donated to Samaritan Ministries to help feed those in need.
