Charity Digital has been hosting a bi-weekly webinar for more than three years. We’ve learned a lot of important information in that time. We’ve learnt to pick topics that our audience want. We’ve learnt to choose the right time, the right length, the right presenter. We’ve learnt to not use too many slides, nor too few, nor to rely on text-heavy slides, and to ensure each slide looks and feels sharp, vibrant, and inviting.
We’ve also learnt to write a script, even if only in bullet points, because talking for an hour straight with no notes can lead to a lot of ums and ahs. We’ve learnt to use digital tools to boost interactivity and accessibility. And we’ve learnt to leave lots of time for a Q&A at the end, so the audience can ask for a little more clarity or detail on topics we’ve covered.
Our host, Nick Wyatt, will focus on the above tips and many more. Nick has gone from a relatively clueless amateur to a relatively confident presenter – no pressure, Nick. He will use the wealth of knowledge he’s accumulated over the last few years to give an engaging webinar on engaging webinars, packed full of tips, tricks, and guidance.
