David Benavidez has now made a public request to His Excellency Turki Alalshikh to help make the Canelo Alvarez fight.
HE Alalshikh is the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and has been key to agreeing deals for several recent major boxing events by staging them in Riyadh.

As a result, AJ instead boxed Ngannou himself on March 8.
And it doesn’t stop there, with Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight world titles already signed for May 18.
Plus Dmitry Bivol vs Artur Beterbiev for the undisputed light-heavyweight world titles is being planned for June 1, alongside the return of Wilder.
