Meals on Wheels is in need of community volunteers and donations [Video]

BRYAN, Texas — Meals on Wheels has been providing food for residents living at or below the poverty level for over four decades, but due to the recent inclement weather, they’ve been struggling to find volunteers to keep their deliveries going.

The non-profit delivers more than 500 meals each day to Brazos Valley residents and has been a resource for many families in need.

Now, they’ve found themselves in need of some community assistance.

Meals on Wheels Director, Ken Barnes explained the many factors that have depleted their volunteer numbers,
