Princess Charlotte was seen using a well-known catchphrase while visiting The Baby Bank in Windsor with Princess Kate, Prince George and Prince Louis on their secret outing. The eight-year-old volunteered for the evening at the charity as she was filmed packing up gift bags of clothes.

The sweet clip was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media channels on Monday. It shows Kate pulling up in a car with the children before they take in donations from the boot.

Kate tells the youngsters that they will be volunteering for the evening, to which Charlotte says “Ooh la la” – a favourite phrase of the young princess, who was first heard using in 2019 when visiting her mum’s Back to Nature Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The phrase is often used for showing surprise, admiration, or excitement about something, and originates in France.
