Richmond Restaurant Week is back Oct. 23-29 [Video]

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -Instead of figuring out what to make for dinner tonight, you could grab a meal in Richmond for a good cause.

Richmond Restaurant Week kicks off on Oct. 23, and each meal purchased benefits the food bank Feed More while giving some local spots a business boost.

“It’s an excuse to eat out but also for a good cause,” assistant general manager of West Coast Provisions Ariyanna Green said.

The tradition is back for its 22nd year. It was brought here by the owner of Acacia Midtown.

She grew up around New York City and says the excitement around restaurant week there inspired her, and she wanted to tie it to a way to give back that was also in with the restaurant business.
