SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WHNT) — Kyle Wright has found academic success attending Scottsboro High School.
In his junior year he was named secretary of the Alabama State Beta Club.
It’s a nationally based educational youth organization that allows students with high academic accomplishment to be creative in other areas.
Kyle says that serving has been a great honor.
“I was put into a leadership position through that and it kind of opened my eyes to a lot of aspects of it and so ever since then I feel like I’ve been trying to do a lot more,” Kyle said.
Kyle notes that poverty in Jackson County is an issue he began to learn more about.
