PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A food cart owner is still in shock after his smoker was stolen in north Portland over the weekend.
He hopes to recover the smoker in one piece, but until then his goal is just to re-open his business.
Maurice Fain, the owner of Southern Kitchen PDX, was opening Saturday morning just like he has for the last five years, when he noticed his smoker was missing.
“I was like where is the grill? I decided to get out and walk around the premises and recognized it was gone,” he said. “I went and talked to some of the neighbors, the businesses and they said that they saw a U-Haul truck pulling it away.”
