The Florin Road Foundation in South Sacramento is planning to host a 2024 Winter Festival that would be free to the community — but they need your help.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Florin Road Foundation is hoping to launch its inaugural Winter Festival for 2024 and even had a fundraising effort kick things off earlier this month.
The Foundation’s mission is to support economic and social development of the Florin Road community. Florin Road Partnership members said they are hoping to give back to the community this winter with ice skating, hot chocolate, Christmas trees, snow and more.
“By attracting visitors from surrounding areas, the festival stimulates the local economy through increased spending at local shops, restaurants and hotels,” Florin Road Partnership Executive Director Corey A.
