Starting a Nonprofit: How to know what your community needs

Start a nonprofit? Here’s how to learn what your community needs, to validate your nonprofit concept. #nonprofits #startinganonprofit #nonprofits

We start nonprofit organizations to solve community problems that others can’t or won’t solve. But when we’re starting out, how do we know what our communities need? How do we know what problems we should focus on to make the biggest impact? In this video I’ll talk through a few concrete strategies you can use to assess what your community truly needs – so you know that your nonprofit can tackle effectively.

If you are starting a nonprofit, thinking about it, or have just started a nonprofit, or KNOW someone who is trying to start a nonprofit, I hope this helps!
