DMPS has applied for the new summer meal program expansion grant, which provides $900,000 in grants for Iowa organizations through the existing summer food programs.

One grant would help pay for improvements on a 3.35-mile stretch of Holmes; the other would help fund a study for improvements on an 8.85-mile stretch of Governors.
