Where to donate to help migrants in Denver [Video]

The city’s migrant donation site is taking donations again after it ran out room last week.

DENVER — After a brief pause, Denver’s migrant donation site is taking donations again.

Last week, the site had to stop taking donations after running out of room to store them. On Wednesday, a spokesperson for the city said donations can resume.

Donations should be brought to the garage doors on the north side of the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center, located at 1200 Federal Boulevard. The site will be accepting donations Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Those who would like to donate can drop off any items; however, the city said there’s a need for the following things:

  • Men’s clothing (especially pants)
  • Children’s clothing
  • Shoes (all sizes)
  • Winter gear (coats, gloves, sweaters)
  • Socks
  • Underwear (new only)

The city asked not to bring toys, household items or clothing larger than XL.

People are encouraged to schedule a time to drop …
