Former WVU football players’ autographs raise money for charity [Video]

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) – WVU Extra Life held a charity event Saturday to benefit WVU Medicine’s Children’s Hospital through raffles, games, and autographs from WVU legends.

The event will run until 9 p.m. at Goal, the chance mic book store at the Meadowbrook Mall.

Former WVU football players Major Harris and Owen Schmitt signed footballs, helmets, picture and more for dozens of excited longtime fans. In addition to the players’ signatures, people could get autographs from movie producer Brad Twigg, and Bigfoot, paranormal investigator Les O’Dell.

This is WVU Extra Life’s seventh year of running different events. Brian Moats, the captain of WVU’s Gamers Extra Life team said this is the 10th event like this one in addition to the smaller ones the group hosts.
